Artificial Intelligence
This study uses Mask Region-based Convolutional Neural Network (Mask R-CNN), a type of deep learning algorithm used for object detection and segmentation to identify specific instances of objects in a picture.
Research
​​This project examined how self-affirmation influences risk-taking behavior. Participants wrote essays reflecting on personal values to induce self-affirmation. Their willingness to take risks was then assessed using the Balloon Analogue Risk Task (BART)
Bioinformatics
This project explored the genetic mutation in the Vangl2 gene of zebrafish. The research discovered that the mutation disrupts the normal structure of the gene, causing faulty transcripts. This insight is crucial for understanding developmental disorders, including neural tube defects like spina bifida.
