Explored the ethical implications of AI in clinical psychology, examining benefits such as diagnostics, personalized care, and clinician training alongside environmental costs including carbon emissions and water consumption — analyzed through the Canadian Code of Ethics and CPA decision-making framework.
AI Programming
This study uses Mask Region-based Convolutional Neural Network (Mask R-CNN), a type of deep learning algorithm used for object detection and segmentation to identify specific instances of objects in a picture.
Bioinformatics
This project explored the genetic mutation in the Vangl2 gene of zebrafish. The research discovered that the mutation disrupts the normal structure of the gene, causing faulty transcripts. This insight is crucial for understanding developmental disorders, including neural tube defects like spina bifida.
